Our films provide a new perspective on life. They make you reflect, laugh and they captivate the audience. With a focus on an empathetic, tolerant and respectful world, in which we wish to live.
This initial vision of founder Robert Geisendörfer remains anchored in our philosophy and continues to be implemented in our productions - at five locations in Germany: Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Stuttgart.
Thanks to this, eikon has won varius awards, including the German Film Award, the Grimme Award, the Geisendörfer Award, the German and Bavarian Television Awards, and many others.
In addition to films, we produce numerous series - documentary and fictional. We show reality in series format in "Handwerkskunst" and "Room Tour," in reports like "Justice," in science shows like "Leschs Kosmos" and "Terra X," and also in talk shows like "So gesehen - Talk am Sonntag.
Event productions such as "Katharina Luther" and "Louis van Beethoven", the series "The Denmark Thriller", a large number of episodes for "Tatort" and "Polizeiruf 110" and series such as "Ein paar Tage Licht", "Phoenixsee" and "Lucie - läuft doch!" enrich the diversity of our portfolio.
Among others, together with the SWR and the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg at "Der junge Dokumentarfilm" and the series "Debüt im Dritten". These films have won numerous prizes.
